Crystal Tree

This picture immediately makes me feel dreamy. It transports me to another landscape entirely. It reminds me of children's picture books, and I like children's picture books more than anyone probably knows. In particular, the flowy blues of the water travel up and spiral into the blue tree, creating a strong focal point. The twining of the body/bark of the tree carries your eyes up and around the whole piece, entirely drawing you in. The hazy yellow lights create a sense of magic and complement the subtly placed purples worked into the color backdrop. It's very lovely.
