As you may have seen, one of my resolutions this year is to do at least a sketch a day, every day and post 'em online on tumblr.  This is mostly meant to help keep my skills sharp and warm up before (or cool down after) drawing comics.  Or something. blah blah blah practice

I saw someone else on tumblr offering warmup requests, so why not try it too, right?


So, wanna try a thing? I'll open up to some free requests on the following terms:
  • Quality may vary. It could be anything from a scribbly sketch to a finished piece.
  • I have no set timeline on completion. Unlike commissions, which are usually handled on a first-come first-serve, I reserve the right to pick anything I want from the request pool at any point.  This means I could draw something from the pool tomorrow... Or I could do it in December. We'll see.
  • I maintain no obligation to draw anything. This is all gonna be done on my free time (and materials), so just because something is suggested does not mean I will draw it.
  • You can request almost anything, as long as it does not break dA or tumbr's submission policies. Exceptions below.
    • No requests for comics, pornographic drawings, or NSFL.
  • Multiple requests are OK.
  • You must be watching me. I will confirm this before I draw your thing.
  • Make your request in the comments of this journal.  Include any references and please be specific if you can, etc. Please don't note me.

Couple extra things to note, of course:
  • If you are okay with my potentially mailing you a piece (if I decide to draw it on actual paper rather than digitally), please include something like "Mail OK" in your comment. Again, no guarantees. But it could happen.
  • I will tag/note you the full-sized version of the drawing.
  • Don't bug me for status updates. Plz.

I apologize if that was a bit long, but dealing with people has taught me that it's better to err on the side of clarity.

These requests will remain open until December 15, 2017, or until I decide to close it. Whichever comes first.
